County Kilkenny community outline proposed alternative to planned windfarm

A community-led group of people from one county Kilkenny village say they’ve an alternative to a proposed windfarm for their area.

‘Protect Inistioge’s Environment’ would rather see a Nature Restoration project and National Park to permanently protect the landscape under EU law instead of the eight turbines set to be installed, planning permission for which has yet to be sought.
