County Kilkenny community remains in shock following dog attack on infant boy

A county Kilkenny community’s in shock after an infant was hospitalised following a dog attack.

We revealed yesterday how the little boy sustained serious injuries following an incident with two dogs at a residential property in Callan.

He was brought to Children’s Health Ireland, Crumlin for treatment with injuries which are understood to be non life-threatening.

The scene was preserved for a technical examination and the animals removed by the dog warden to be destroyed.
