A meeting between Council officials and Dunnes Stores is set to take place soon, bringing discussions on the future of the Ferrybank Shopping Centre one step closer.
The Anchor Tenant of the centre will meet with Council representatives to discuss plans for the property, which has remained mostly vacant since 2008, with only the local library and council office currently operating.
Cllr. Ger Frisby provided an update to KCLR News after their recent monthly meeting, highlighting the importance of moving forward with discussions to revitalise the area.
“The meeting next week is hoped to provide clarity on potential plans for the future of the shopping centre.”
