The new Cathaoirleach of Carlow County Council will be elected at the GB Shaw Theatre at Visual on the 8th on June.
A minimum quorum of six Councillors attended a short and socially distanced meeting this afternoon to vote through the move.
Kilkenny County Council’s already voted to move their meetings to the Watergate Teatre from next month.
