There’s still time to register for Kilkenny’s Darkness Into Light if you’re planning to take part.
The event takes place on Saturday, May 9th, starting at 4:15am from the Reserve Defence Forces at Stephens Barracks.
Speaking at an open registration event at Market Cross, volunteer Aurellia Glynn explained more.
“Just to let everybody know, the morning of May 9th, starting in Kilkenny in St James Stephens Barracks, we’ll be hosting our annual fundraising event, Darkness Into Light, starting at quarter past four in the morning, participants walk from the darkness of the night into the lightness of the dawn.” she said.
“It’s a lovely uplifting event, and everybody can register online, T-shirts are optional, and we look forward to seeing you there on the night.” she added.
