Demonstration for more cardiac services in South East to take place next week

People from South Kilkenny and all over the South East are being urged to come out for a major demonstration tomorrow week to demand more cardiac services in University Hospital Waterford.
It’s being organised by the South East patient Advocacy Group and will start at 2 o’clock at the Glen in Waterford on the 24th of this month.
John Doherty’s daughter Ava had open heart surgery as a baby and need ongoing cardiac care – John’s told KCLR news that the people need to make themselves heard on this issue.
Meanwhile, the Waterford junior minister who promised to ‘rain hell’ on the government says he has been, and is doing his job.
Minister John Halligan threatened to resign after an expert report said facilities that he wanted for Waterford hospital weren’t justified.
In recent days, the Taoiseach reminded all ministers to get on with their jobs and noted that John Halligan had 11 areas of responsibility.
