Derdimus Park set for massive upgrade as Kilkenny & District League secures astro pitch approval

A major upgrade is on the way after the County Council approved plans for Derdimus Park in Kilkenny.

The Kilkenny & District League has secured planning permission to replace their existing grass pitch with a brand-new, full-sized astro pitch.

The multi-use redevelopment project on the Callan Road will also feature advanced drainage networks, modern boundary fencing, and ball stop netting.

Crucially, the installation of floodlighting will open the venue for evening training and night matches.
