Derek Deane declares intentions to run for IFA President

Derek Deane has declared that he IS now looking to become the IFA’s next president.

The Carlow-man had previously stated his intention to seek his branch’s nomination but that he would not decide on running until January when an election date had been set.

He was ratified by Carlow IFA at a meeting last night and is now looking for 5 national nominations to be in the running.

Speaking to KCLR News, Mr Deane says it all comes down to those nominations.
