A new development is planned for the Knocktopher Wastewater Pumping Station
The application to Kilkenny Councy Council includes a new pumping station, two kiosks, a 53m cubed storm tank, a 9m cubed potable water tank, a 22m square solar array, and perimeter fencing.

The site will also feature a new access point onto Friary Street, as well as boundary changes.
A Natural Impact Statement will be submitted with the planning application.
