Minister Finian McGrath says the lack of clear communication from a local disabilities centre is not acceptable.
The Junior Minister for Disabilities was in Kilkenny today to meet with families of those in St Patrick’s Centre – which is due to wind down completely in 2018.
A number of recent HIQA reports have been quite damning of the facility and family members have raised concerns about the lack of communication from
them.
Some residents have already been moved to alternative, temporary accommodation such as hotels and B and Bs.
Speaking to KCLR Live today, Minister McGrath says he will try and get answers.
