There was dismay at the Leinster Post Primary Schools at UPMC Nowlan Park at the weekend.
Video footage seen by KCLR appears to show a fence within the County Ground collapsing during celebrations with supporters ending up on pitchside.
It’s unknown if anyone was hurt in the incident.
KCLR News reached out to all stakehodlers for comment.
A spokeperson from Kilkenny GAA said: “Following the Leinster Senior Hurling Post Primary Schools Final at UPMC Nowlan Park, an incident occurred during post-match celebrations when players approached supporters in Ardán de Grás. A section of pitch-side fencing gave way, resulting in a number of supporters falling. Three supporters required medical attention, and a response plan was put in place by the County Board Medical Team to treat the individuals.”
