Donald Trump has declared he is the next US President.
Flanked by his family, he’s been addressing his supporters at the West Palm Beach Convention Centre in Florida.
He says ”this is a movement like nobody has ever seen before” and he has made history and overcame obstacles.
He’s projected to win two of the seven battleground states in the US presidential election, and is leading in another three.
He’s taken North Carolina and Georgia and is ahead in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin – all considered vital in deciding the eventual outcome.
Kamala Harris’s campaign say she won’t be speaking tonight.
270 is the magic number of electoral votes needed for a new president to be named, Mr Trump’s on 246, and Ms Harris on 194.
The counting continues.
