Draws for Kilkenny Semis and Quarter finals tonight after hectic weekend of action

League champions Clara continued their good form with a win over Erins Own in the Quarter Finals of the St Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling Championship.

It Finished Clara 12 points Erins Own 1-5.

TJ Reid and Colin Fennelly got the goals that made the difference for Ballyhale Shamrocks as they seen off Fenians 3-17 to 16 points in the Quarter finals.

Mullinavat continued their ascendancy since coming up from Intermediate last year to get past the Rower Inistioge 18 points to 12.

Elsewhere in the 1st round replay Dicksboro overcame Danesfort to seal their place in the quarter final and a city derby against old rivals O’Loughlin Gaels.

In the Intermediate championship, last years junior champions Bennettsbridge continued their remarkable form by booking their place in the semi final.

They beat Tullogher Rosbercon 2-15 to 2-10, while st Patrick’s overcame Young Ireland’s 1-18 to 9 points.

Tullaroans run came to an end at the hands of Thomastown, 1-14 to 1-8 is how it finished while St Lachtains beat Lisdowney 2-15 to 1-12.

In the Junior Championship there were wins for Windgap, Glenmore, Blacks and Whites, Barrow Rangers, Mooncoin and Kilmacow.

Meanwhile the draws for the Senior and Intermediate semis and the Junior Quarter finals take place LIVE tonight on KCLR just after the 8 o clock news.
