It’s been a dream week for one Carlow family.
Pat Amond who heads up Carlow Toolmaking Services collected top prize in the local enterprise county finals on Wednesday and then got confirmation yesterday that his son Padraig has been selected for the Republic of Ireland squad.
He told KCLR news today they’ve been getting lots of good wishes from locals with endless texts and phonecalls about it.
And now he himself is preparing for the National Enterprise Awards in May.
