You’re being urged to take extra care on the roads today as more heavy rain batters the country.
A number of areas across Carlow and Kilkenny have suffered the effects of recent storms.
In Kilkenny the Bleech Rd is still closed following flooding.
However, it’s believed the Annamult Road in Bennettsbridge – which had been impassable – has now been cleared.
In Carlow, Leighlin Rd is closed at Lanigan’s Lough due to flooding and you’re being advised to use an alternative route.
Widespread heavy wind and rain is expected when Storm Frank hits our shores tomorrow.
