€15,000 worth of equipment stolen in Carlow last weekend

Gardai are appealling for information after a €15,000 worth of equipment was stolen in Carlow last weekend.

It happened sometime between 3am and 9am on Saturday last, 2nd May 2026, from a premises on the Brownshill Road in Carlow.

Five scramblers were taken during the robbery and are worth in excess of €15,000.

Sergeant Eddie Brennan is making this appeal,

“Sometime overnight from 3am onwards we’re looking for anyone that may have been in the facility.  There may have been a vehicle used in that that has had the capacity to take those scramblers and put them into the back of it so you could be looking at a van of some sort or maybe a lorry.”
