Three local charities are set to benefit from over 17 thousand euro raised locally this week.
Hundreds of people took part in a 24 hour boot camp which was held at Paulie’s Boot Camp in the town.
The funds, which are believed to be in the region of €17,500, will be divided between Carlow Mental Health, Shauntelle Tynan and Éist Cancer Support in Carlow.
TV Presenter Kathryn Thomas and Tullow’s Sean O’Brien were just two of the people who took part in the boot camp.
Speaking to KCLR news, Paul Ward says the community really got behind the event.
