Locals who gave up 6 weeks of their time learning how to dance have raised more than 60 thousand euro for a Kilkenny cancer support centre.
Cois Nore is a voluntary organisation set up to provide support to those in Kilkenny meeting the challenge of a cancer diagnosis.
Last Friday the Strictly Lets Dance fundraising event in Lyrath Hotel saw 18 couples take to the stage after 6 weeks of training with the proceeds going to Cois Nore this year.
