There was success for one local ploughman in Denmark this weekend.
Eamon Treacy from Carlow came first in the stubble event at the World Ploughing Championships yesterday.
John Whelan from Wexford came in third.
Eamon is trying to retain his world title at the event and we’ll find out later if he was successful.
He was the first Irishman to win the world title for almost 20 years at last year’s competition in France.
