The Eclectic Light Programme – Interview: Carol Keogh (7/2/2015)

Carol Keogh is one of Ireland’s finest singers and songwriters. Surprisingly she has only just released her debut album “Mongrel City” and it has impressed a great many people; it shows off both her singing and a great depth of songwriting. It is this element of her art that will bring Carol down to Kilkenny to appear at the Songwriters In The Round gig on February 12th.

We discuss the genesis of the album, the process of funding and recording and we hear two tracks from the album. the album is available from Carol’s website and from Rollercoaster Records in Kilkenny.
