In the first of our exclusively online sessions and interviews,  I met with 2 members of Carlow band Professa Fresh,  Sarah Owens (Guitar, Vocals) and Austin Fahey (Guitar, Vocals). This newest musical incarnation has been on the go for about a year and they give us a glimpse of how their music is composed, prepared, shared, recorded and performed.

On the evening we recorded this piece, Professa Fresh are preparing for the annual Irish Youth Music Awards taking place in Dublin on April 12th.

We also got to hear a (work in progress) song called “Escape”

We wish them well in the IYMAs. If you want to hear more, they’re on Soundcloud where you’ll have to figure out their bio for yourself 😉
