Simone Felice is a great favourite on the show and has appeared in Kilkenny in a number of guises, all of which have passed in to the musical myths of the city.
His latest album “Strangers” is a tour de force and has won many new fans. It features David Baron as producer, along with guest artists The Felice Brothers, Leah Siegel, and Wesley Schultz & Jeremiah Fraites of The Lumineers.
I caught up with Simone as he was literally packing to come to Kilkenny where his Irish and UK tour starts. We chat about the muse, the air in the Catskills, the making of the new album and his upcoming tour.
