A new initiative that serves as an educational food hub for the Southeast has been launched.
16 places have been made available on a special innovative professional culinary course.
The course will be based at Kilkennys School of Food in Thomastown and the graduates will receive level 5 recognition.
It follows a recent announcement that there is a deficit of 5 thousand chefs in Ireland each year.
Patrick Flanagan will be teaching the course, speaking to KCLR he says it’ll be a very hands on programme.
