Efforts underway to revive Carlow town centre

Efforts to revive the heart of Carlow town are underway.

A new report’s been published on retailing on Tullow street and Dublin street -it was conducted to try and determine how many vacant properties are in the town.

The county council are working in partnership with the Carlow Town Team on finding solutions for the town centre.

The report found 30 percent of business premises on Dublin and Tullow streets are empty.
