Emergency services attending crash scene on motorway in County Carlow

Emergency services are attending the scene of a crash in county Carlow.

It’s northbound on the M9, between junction five (N80/Carlow centre) and junction four (Carlow north).

Paramedics are already at the scene – it’s not yet known if any serious injuries have been sustained.

Eye witnesses (at 9:10am) told KCLR News that both lanes northbound are blocked.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland’s advising “Some delays to your journey may occur. When approaching the collision location, drive with caution, reduce your speed and please obey instructions from emergency services.”
