Emergency services called to fire at Kilkenny city property

Kilkenny fire services were called to a scene just off city streets last evening.

Smoke was seen billowing from a property in the New Street/Walkin Street area before 7 o’clock.

The crews were joined by Gardaí there – a spokesperson says the premises was on Lower New Street and that no injuries were reported.

Enquiries are ongoing.
