Emergency services dealing with north Kilkenny crash

UPDATE (3rd Feb): One woman was taken to hospital for assessment following the single vehicle incident at Coolbawn, Castlecomer which happened at 5am.

Emergency services are understood to be dealing with a crash in north Kilkenny.

Eye witnesses say it happened on the N78 on the far side of the Discovery Park in Castlecomer.

Personnel from the local fire brigade are said to be out directing traffic.

It’s not yet known if anybody’s been injured – stay tuned for updates and avoid the stretch for the foreseeable.
