Enquiries ongoing after a pedestrian was knocked down in Carlow town

A pedestrian has been hospitalised following a road traffic incident in Carlow Town.

It happened on Barrack Street at around 6pm yesterday evening.

A man in his sixties was brought to hospital following the incident but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Gardai in Carlow Town says their enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
