The new Enterprise Hub which will be developed at the former post office building in Borris is a tremendous vote of confidence in the county’s economy.
That’s the view of Carlow Chamber Chief Executive Nicola Doran who shared with KCLR News after news broke about the LEADER-backed project – with construction scheduled to commence this summer.
Nicola said that the new hub will provide a timely and welcome remote working option. “It’s fantastic to see this, particularly happening in Boris.”
“It’s one of those things when you get an enterprise centre in a rural location, everybody benefits because it gives a centre for enterprise to thrive from and it gives a real burst of energy, I think, in each region and we see that in Hackettstown where the enterprise centre is up and running.”
“It really is a boost to the local region but to the wider county as well, so it’s really welcoming, as I have to say.”
