European Commission to investigate cervical cancer vaccine

A group representing young women who complained of side effects after getting the cervical cancer vaccine has welcomed the news that the European Commission is to investigate.

At least one girl from Carlow is represented by the group REGRET which was set up by families of Irish teenage girls who developed serious health problems that they are blaming on the HPV vaccine they got in school.

Now the European Commission is to investigate their claims of serious side effects.
