Motorists are being urged to take care on the roads this St Patrick’s Weekend.
Gardaí say drivers, cyclists and pedestrians need to be responsible and show restraint on what is traditionally a busy period on the roads.
Thomastown Inspector Audrey Dormer told KCLR that the national holiday can also be a particularly difficult day for members of the Gardaí.
