Facelift for public spaces ahead of Tourist season in Carlow & Kilkenny

160 thousand euro of funding in total has been awarded to Carlow and Kilkennys Councils to clean up its public areas.

Kilkennys 90 thousand and Carlows 70 thousand is to be spent on tidying up areas including walking routes, town parks, derelict building and graveyards.

The Department of the Environment says the money will go towards trying to put the best face forward for our communities ahead of the coming tourist season.
