Famed Irish band with key Kilkenny member set to kick start tour locally later

A renowned local talent is set for a homecoming later.

Mooncoin musician Darren Holden and band The High Kings will kick off their 2026 tour in Kilkenny.

On the go since 2007, the now foursome has become a global success story, their talents lauded at each stop-off point.

They’re set to play close to 20 Irish venues before heading back Stateside in February and get it all going at The Hub, Cillin Hill from 8pm tonight (Monday, 29th December).
