On the Farmshow this week Matt O’ Keeffe spoke to Eoin Lowry, Business Editor of the Irish Farmers Journal, about Glanbia and its financial results for 2017. Matt posed th question as to why Glanbia’s share price had reduced at a time when increased revenues and profits were being reported by the international food company.

Tom McWey of St Canice’s Credit Union had news of a new agri-loan facility for farmers.

The big news of the day – the settlement between IFA and ex IFA general secretary Pat Smith was discussed with James Murphy,  the Kilkenny IFA county executive chairman.
