Dairy farmers from across the country will be converging in Kilkenny today and tomorrow as the Teagasc National Dairy Conference 2015 gets underway.
With the abolition of EU milk quotas this year as well as the increase in national milk production and the decrease in milk prices, ‘Managing in a New Era’ is the theme for this conference.
The focus of the two-day event will also be around technologies that dairy farmers can use to improve their farm business performance.
It all started this morning in the Lyrath Estate Hotel.
