Farmers around Carlow and Kilkenny are being urged to take part in a national survey on crime.
The Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association is compiling the country’s first ever survey on agricultural crime in Ireland.
The study is looking at the amount, the type and the cost of crimes – as well as gathering information to help with crime prevention.
The ICSA says not all crimes are reported and this new study will provide valuable insights into the true extent of the problem.
