Féile an Fhómhair is in full swing in Carlow with set dancing, ceili and a heritage outing among the attractions for today

Féile an Fhómhair is in full swing in Carlow today and over the weekend.

The autumn festival events are organised for every age group with drama, literature, art, music, storytelling, cinema, comedy and entertainment of every kind on offer.

There are plenty of events today and until the closing of the festival on the 9th October.

A guided tour of Saint Mullins in the afternoon is followed by a workshop in set dancing.

A Ceili mor takes place tonight with live music from the Brian Boru ceili band.
