After 43 years on the go, there will be no steam rally in Fenagh in Carlow this year.
The event which is known all over the country is not going ahead as last years organisers stepped down and no one has come in to take over its running.
Since it started it has raised hundreds of thousands of euro for local charities including the Carlow Kilkenny Homecare team.
Mary Nolan the former secretary says it was hard to find people to take it over.
