Fianna Fail has announced a 4th candidate to contest for a seat in Kilkenny North in the upcoming local elections.
Maria Fenlon Keating will be the only woman on the party ticket for that area – and is one of only 2 female candidates the party has running for Kilkenny county council.
The Goresbridge native who is living in Paulstown joins Pat Fitzpatrick, Michael McCarthy and sitting councillor Pat Millea as candidates for North Kilkenny.
She only got word on Friday evening but told KCLR news this morning she has already hit the ground running and started canvassing on Saturday.
