Fianna Fail Councillor wants shared fire services HQ in Kilkenny

Its not yet known where the headquarters will be located when Carlow and Kilkenny fire services merge.

Kilkenny County Council says it will begin consultations with firemen in the near future.

It’s stressing that the effects of the amalgamation will not be felt on the ground.

The Authority’s Leas Cathaoirleach Paddy KcKee of Fianna Fail says he wants the HQ in Kilkenny.
