The leader of the Fianna Fáil Party is in Carlow for the next two days.
Mícheál Martin is in town to meet with local politicians and the public to drum up support for the party.
It’s part of a nationwide leadership tour.
He’ll be canvassing in the area today and tomorrow, while also visiting local businesses in Carlow.
Fianna Fáil Senator, Jennifer Murnane O’Connor, says locals will have the chance to air their views with the party leader.
