Fianna Fail will pick their General Election candidates for Carlow & Kilkenny next week.
Carlow will hold a selection convention on Monday in the Lord Bagenal – we’ll know on Friday morning who has put their name forward for that.
Kilkenny members will select candidates on Tuesday night in Springhill hotel.
Its understood sitting TD’s John McGuinness & Bobby Aylward are the 2 names going forward.
