Final round of Kilkenny senior league games throws up high scoring clashes

In the final round of the Kilkenny senior hurling league last night Clara ended O Loughlin Gaels’s 100% record with a one point win in group A.

Ballyhale beat Tullaroan by 2-20 to 1-10 while Carrickshock enjoyed a 2-24 to 1-12 win over St Martins

O Loughlin Gaels top the group with Ballyahle in second,and Carrickshock and Clara in third and fourth respectively.

In group B

In the cross city clash at Nowlan park Dicksboro overcame James Stephens by 2-18 to 2-14

Rower Inistioge had four points to spare over Fenians and Erins Own and Danesfort ended level at 0-10 each.

That left last year’s intermediate champions top of the group standings while Dicksboro finsihed second just ahead of the Village and Erins Own.
