Fine Gael Councillor says she knows who she’d like to represent Fine Gael in by-election

Kilkenny Fine Gael Councillor, Mary Hilda Cavanagh, says she knows who she’d like to see representing the party in the by-election but she’s keeping her cards close to her chest!

The party’s selection is now less than a week away with former IFA president, John Bryan, and sitting Kilkenny Councillor, David Fitzgerald the only two members to put their names forward.

Councillor Cavanagh told KCLR she’ll support whoever is selected but that the coveted position of TD will only be a temporary one anyway.
