Fine Gael Deputy Phelan finds it strange that PAC only issued invitation yesterday to Frank Flannery
Fine Gael TD John Paul Phelan says he finds it ‘strange’ that the public accounts committee expected Frank Flannery to appear before them when they only issued an invitation yesterday.
Mr Flannery resigned from the board of Rehab yesterday and from his roles in Fine Gael.
There has been increasing pressure in recent weeks for the former Rehab Chief executive to answer questions before the public accounts committee.
But John McGuinness revealed this morning that a personal invitation was only issued yesterday as he and the committee members were unsure if he had got their first request which went through Rehab.
