First Junior Grand Marshal of St Patrick’s Day Parade in Kilkenny ‘grateful and excited’ for the role

The very first Junior Grand Marshal of the Kilkenny St Patricks Day Parade says she’s really excited about it.

14 year old singer and performer Enya Cox Dempsey who represented Ireland at the Junior Eurovision last year was announced for the role this week which she will undertake alongside Olympic Cyclist Mia Griffin.

Enya told The Saturday Show how proud she is to have been asked:

“I’m so grateful that I have this opportunity aswell and just to know that the way people view me is an inspiration to people. And that is so lovely.”
