Carlow Councillor Charlie Murphy says he’s expecting a very busy year as the new Cathaoirleach.
The Independent councillor took over as chair of the council from Fine Gael’s Fergal Browne after a vote at yesterday’s council meeting.
This is the Councillor Murphy’s first time at the helm since first being elected in 2009.
He told KCLR he’s ready for the year ahead.
