First time ever for Tinryland and Palatine to meet in U21 A Football Final

In Carlow for the first time Tinryland and Palatine meet in the under 21 ‘A’ football championship final on Saturday at Netwatch Cullen, throw in is at 3pm.

Tinryland last won in 2006 and are looking for their seventh title, Palatine won in 1996 and were known as Pal-Asca that year and are looking for their second title.

Palatine Under-21 Football manager Nicky Parle says he is quietly confident they can win the County Final despite their opponents been red hot favourites…..

In the first minor hurling championship semi-final Naomh Eoin take on reigning champions Mt. Leinster Rngs in Netwatch Carlow Training Centre tomorrow evening starting at 8-00pm.

Ballinkillen take on Erins Own in the second semi-final on Saturday evening in Netwatch Cullen Park at 4-30

And Naomh Eoin and Mt. Leinster Rngs will meet three times in less than 48 hours this coming weekend,

Friday is the minor and Sunday is the Intermediate Hurling Replay and the Senior Hurling Championship semi-final
