Flood defences needed in Graiguenamanagh as quay residents brace themselves for more flooding this weekend

There’s calls for money to be made available for flood defences in Graiguenamanagh.

Homes along the quay in the town were filled with water following this weeks storms and the risk is high of more flooding over the weekend as heavy rain is forecast for later.

Councillor Tommy Prendergast says locals dont know where to turn as they try to save their homes.

And he told KCLR news its time now something was done about it.
