There’s still a major risk of flooding on slow moving rivers such as the River Barrow, Nore and Slaney.
Thats according to the National Coordination Group who met earlier.
They say the Barrow, Nore, Suir and Slaney are at very high levels and any additional rain may cause serious flooding.
In Carlow, the local authories are continously monitoring the river levels in the area and County Engineer Brian O’Donovan say they’ve emergency measures in place
